Students have expressed their anger at The Edge gym after the booking system crashed this week.
The system, which is designed to make it easier for students to select classes, has suffered crashes and glitches for the past “few weeks”
according to an e-mail sent from the fitness facilities’ team to all members.
The message says a full change of the servers is due to take place on Wednesday (March 12) in order to fully
resolve the problem.
The kiosks located inside The Edge have also been subject to problems.
Additional staff have been deployed to deal with phone bookings, which can be made by contacting the reception .
One final-year student, with a full Edge membership, told LS: “I can’t believe it’s taken this long to resolve problems. The Edge is really expensive and they should be able to deal with things like this.”
