Amid their roaring UK tour, Sheer Mag are ready for their hotly-anticipated gig at Brudenell Social Club on Wednesday 6th November.
After a 5 year career abound with stellar songs, commanding live performances and enough electrifying riffs to rival any classic rock legend, Sheer Mag released their second album ‘A Distant Call’ earlier this year to widespread critical acclaim. The release masterfully pairs gritty guitar licks with the powerhouse yowl of lead singer Tina Halladay, while also dealing lyrically with issues as wide-ranging as class struggles, bereavement and body positivity.
Seemingly, it hasn’t taken long for Sheer Mag to solidify themselves as one of rock’s most promising new names. All in all, you’d be a fool to miss these Philadelphia punks rip the roof off Brudenell as they shred through a setlist filled with anthems such as ‘Blood From a Stone’, ‘Escape the Bayonet’ and, of course, the mosh-inducing ‘Fan the Flames’.
